Once your language is present in that /etc/freeswitch/freeswitch.xml list, if you have changed the Voice (like using recorded files from somewhere else), you must have edited Advanced > Variables > sound_prefix, but this new value won't be recognised under /etc/freeswitch/languages/pt/pt.xml...
