Help with Providers

Hi
I am new to FusionPBX and in the beginning stage of understanding it. The document lists VoiceTel and Skyetel as the recommended providers.
What provider the user is using mostly? Can anybody give information on differences between the two?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The providers in the documentation lists are simply those that pay to be there, I hear other names mentioned far more than any of those two.
