I have call parking working great on my Fanvil X5s

The only issue is the indicator light never comes on . No green, No red. So the other party does not know which parking key to press. Functionality works just fine. It parks and picks up. Just no light.

I tried it on my Yealink T29G and same results - no blf lights

I have the type set up as Memory Value = park +*5901 in slot 1 and park+*5902 in slot 2

On the Fanvil, once you change the Category to LINE it greys out all other fields and won't let you select Call Park. Therefore that solution does not work on either the FAnvil or Yealink. I do appreciate you trying to help.

I have abandoned the Fanvil and now I am just trying to get the indicator lights to work properly on the Yealink T29G.

I can get call parking to work with no issues - except for the lights. It should blink fast red when there is a call parked. There are NO lights blinking or lit up at all when I park a call

I did try Category LINE and Type = Call Park and then Type = BLF - All allow call parking, just no lights

Has anyone had success with showing lights when you park a call?

You need to subscribe to the notify events to make the lights work.

Instead of just +*5901, replace with +*5901@yourdomain

Replace 'yourdomain' with the domain for tenant

That fixed it - now it is green when there is not a call on park and it turns red when a call is parked
I wish they had put that in the fusionpbx docs.

Thank you!

No problems. Fiddling with things is the best way to learn I've found, however, if you've got time, give back to the community by offering to update and edit the docs for the next person who needs it.

I sure will. Maybe I can make someone elses life a little easier

One other thing. Do you know the correct text and where in the config file to place this objective?

Yealink T29G
Programmable Keys
Message
Custom
value = (whatever string I want)

I can manually login after adding this to the config file: features.enhanced_dss_keys.enable=1

That creates the Custom option in the Type Field under programmable keys

Just wondering in the DEVICE section (fusionpbx) where it says SETTINGS what I would type where to get the value and custom key to provision

You should be able to set this up under 'Keys' in the device settings in FusionPBX.

Category: Line
Key: The key on the phone you want it bound to
Type: BLF
Line: 1
Value: park+*5901@domain
Label: Call Park

If you do it this way, you don't need to edit the config files
