Been troubleshooting this for a minute, purchased a playtest GRP2615 as I'm considering it over Polycoms.
I have a Syslog server that is reporting the below from the phone itself:
- HTTP response 200
- Downloaded CFG data
- Reboot by config change path = /app/bin/config_xml, name = config_xml, arg1 = /tmp/cfg.xml, arg2 = , arg3 =
- Parsing XML configuration failed
- config update not completed

Nginx logs seem to correspond with the above:
[server ip] - - [14/Mar/2020:17:18:53 +0000] "GET /app/provision/cfg[mac].xml HTTP/1.1" 401 23 "-" "Grandstream Model HW GRP2615 SW 1.0.1.7 DevId [mac]"

Setup:
Phone - GRP2615
FusionPBX 4.5.12 on Debian 10
Template being deployed for provision: grandstream/grp26xx

Any ideas on some things that might cause this would be great. I manually updated the firmware on the phone in case that was a problem. I also spot checked a template config against FusionPBX's config, they seemed similar, I can check in more detail if we think it might be a config template mismatch issue.

Any ideas on this one would be great, just want to avoid troubleshooting in the wrong direction.

I changed the config type to GXP2170 vs GRP26XX and it appears to have "worked", I'm not certain the config crossover and what does or doesn't differ, but this definitely seems to confirm an issue with the GRP26XX config. As things go on I'll try to scan through the sample configs provided by Grandstream and the config provided by FusionPBX and I'll see if I can't narrow down what it is. If I sort it out I assume I should submit a bug report?

Thanks!

There are differences between the GRP configs and the GXP2170. It will mostly work with the 2170 template, but may find some buttons are wrong if using a lot of lines or buttons.

Maybe I spoke too soon, I'm having issues with BLF buttons or I guess after examining the Grandstream webpage/config they call them VPK's, Virtual Multi-Purpose Keys.

I'm examining the config now to see what could be wrong, but Grandstream does their config much different from Polycom it would appear which has me confused, I'll likely have to read up on their configs a bit more.
