Groundwire Voicemail notification

Is there a special way to get voicemail notifications to work on Groundwire? With FreePBX it works right out of the box. Groundwire shows how many voicemails are stored and updates almost immediately when I add or delete a voicemail. In FusionPBX I get nothing. Is there any special setting to get this to work?

You might have to enable the LUA scripts for MWI: https://github.com/fusionpbx/fusion.../templates/conf/autoload_configs/lua.conf.xml

These can be found in /etc/freeswitch/autoload_configs/lua.conf.xml. Give FreeSwitch a restart and it should be good to go.

Thanks but not working for me. For some reason, I do not get voicemail notifications on Groundwire.

I use groundwire and this works the same as you described for freepbx

Is there some type of service I need to activate for this to work? I am running Debian 11.

You did set *97 for VM

Got it working (with the help of Acrobits). It's not enough to turn on the lua script for voicemail. The lua script for events must be turned on too.
I don't get why the developers choose to turn off some default settings that should really be working right out of the box. Makes the learning process much harder than it has to be.
