Hi,

I'm trying to install mod_com_g729 on a dev server. It's a fresh debian, simply run the fusionpbx installer and follow instruction in http://files.freeswitch.org/g729/INSTALL .

All seem to run fine, It display me:
Code:
Thank You!
Running Installer
Stopping license server
Installing new license server
Installing new FreeSWITCH module
Installing activation utility
Creating license directory
Running ldconfig...
Cleaning up...

The activator running fine, but the is not mod_com_729.so in the module directory. (
/usr/lib/freeswitch/mod)

Is someone getting it propely install ? I try to specify the bin and modules directory (
/usr /usr/lib/freeswitch/mod) but still no module file :(

Thanks

Default mod path of freeswitch in FusionPBX installation is /usr/lib/freeswitch/mod.

I was quite surprised to hear that this actually still works on Freeswitch 1.10 so you may want to try it, mod_bcg729: http://repo.sip247.com/debian/

There is a readme file for it.

the isssue with the mod there is for ARM by the looks of it. has anyone tired this on X86.

The packages have been built on a ODroid XU4, we have also tested on Cubietruck, but should be good for Raspberry PI2, Cubox, Odroid U3 etc

Add the repo with the following:

echo "deb http://repo.sip247.com/debian/freeswitch-stable-armhf/ jessie main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/freeswitch.list
wget -qO - http://repo.sip247.com/debian/sip247.com.gpg.key | apt-key add -
apt-get update

Having major issues error 488

I think that mod_bcg729 is actually x86 I just dumped it there. I could be wrong, its a long time ago. If you actually bother to read properly I said "There is a readme file for it."

When we are referring to mod_bcg729 which of the readme files do you thing you should be looking at?

README-mod_bcg729.txt

Start a new thread, this looks like it has nothing to do at all with the installation of the module. One line of a log is going to do nothing to get anyone else to help you, you need to post more detailed logs.
