Voicemail and recordings cut at the beginning

I'm facing an issue since a while that voicemails and recordings (*732) are cut short at the beginning. Since *732 goes directly to fusion and not through the Gateway I can exclude that part.
Someone on IRC mentioned syncing clocks in FS and I found this https://freeswitch.org/confluence/display/FREESWITCH/Clock documentation, but it looks like the clock is in sync. Not really sure where to look next, anyone else got ideas where to look at?

I had this issue not long ago and it was due to video codec's being sent which caused about a 4 second cut off at the beginning of the voicemail being recorded along with when recording the greeting as well. I resolved this by adding the below to my vm_user under dialplan manager. This needs to added right below the destination_number.
