    do you recommend anyone that an host these? We are wanted to move our freepbx systems to freeswitch. So far the debian 8 is working. I guess I assume since Ubuntu is debian based it would work....doh!

    ITs just a VM. I'm using ubuntu. Maybe that's the issue? Should I use a different version?

    I have installed a fresh build of ubuntu with php 7.1. No errors and get this when trying to browse to the local ip of the PBX. I have installed php according to these steps: https://websiteforstudents.com/setup-nginx-php-7-1-ubuntu-16-04-17-04/ What am I missing?
