I have had the same issue, and my business partners are no happy that I cant explain why the fix (I see it as a workaround) worked? Anyone have any theories on this? Does this fix continue to work even if you have to reboot the server in future, or do you have to perform it again?

I have had this issue since 2017. My clients that take on-line credit card details and need call recording activated but must be able to toggle it. They are threatening to pull their business from me because they cant comply with GDPR. This has been going on since 2017 and still no solution...
