found it, nothing to do with the restore, Debian 12 on Azure did not install cron.!!! really. do the cron job was never created to complete the CDR import.

restored the /etc/freeswitch directory and still not CDR, tried to restore /etc/fusionpbx but then i cannot access the DB. any ideas? anyone?

dont know if its relevant but i ONLY restored the database and didnt copy any folders over. could be that the xml_cdr files cannot now access the new DB, maybe i need to copy over all the freeswitch and fusion folders including the config.conf?
