Hello,

looking to integrate a door release system with FusionPBX as we look to replace an older Alcatel system. Have an Algo 8063 controller set up as an extension and the electrical side of things is fine. Can call the Algo ext and the door release is triggered.

What we are looking to do though, is when someone calls from the phone in the lobby, reception can enter a code on their dialpad to trigger the door release.

Thoughts at the moment are to use a lua script to call the Algo in the background, but I'm struggling to get the start of this working - FusionPBX to do something when the extension that answers the call starts typing digits on their keypad. I can see them coming up in the console log, but what am I missing to make the PBX do something with them?

Google-fu is failing me at the moment, so any pointers appreciated...

Hi,

What phones do you have?

I have setup something like this in a few places using a Yealink phone and a Wed Relay.

The phone has a button that can call a specific local ip address that is the web relay.

The relay will then open the door for a specific amount of time.

This has nothing to do with the Algo.

This is that the door strike is connected to both the Algo and the Web relay.

The Yealink will be able to buzz the door even if it is on a phone call.

If you would like some more info on where to get a web relay for a good price, please DM me.

Good luck.
