Hi everyone,

My name is Danilo, I'm a Systems Engineer and IT Manager at OREL Srl, a managed services and IT consulting company based in Atessa (Chieti), central Italy.
I've been a member of this community for a while now, but I'm only just getting around to introducing myself — better late than never!
I've been managing FusionPBX deployments for a few years — mostly multi-tenant setups for SMEs and public administration clients. My day-to-day involves FortiGate firewalls, Proxmox, Windows Server/AD, and of course VoIP with FusionPBX/FreeSWITCH.
I joined this forum mainly to learn from other experienced admins and to contribute where I can — especially around SIP profiles, codec issues, and multi-tenant administration.
Looking forward to exchanging ideas with you all!

Danilo

Welcome @dmattone. Given your experience managing FusionPBX, you might want to explore FS PBX. We forked FusionPBX some time ago and developed a version that is much simpler to manage. You will likely find that many of the issues you're facing have been addressed, starting with very easy updates and a new, user-friendly dashboard. We are a VoIP provider that first built it for ourselves and then open-sourced it for everyone to enjoy.

Thanks for the tip, @pbxgeek — really appreciate it!

I wasn't familiar with FS PBX before, so I did a bit of digging after your mention and I have to say it looks genuinely impressive. A modern Laravel + Vue.js stack on top of FreeSWITCH, proper multi-tenancy with a unified login portal, HA with master-master PostgreSQL replication... it addresses quite a few pain points I've run into with FusionPBX over the years.

I'm going to spin up a test instance right away and put it through its paces in our lab environment. I'll report back with findings — good or bad.

Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction!

I hope you like it, @dmattone. Watching the video on the new provisioning process and how we manage templates for devices and keys will provide insight into the FS PBX method and our goal to simplify PBX management. You can compare this with the current process and see a clear improvement and simplification. We kept the old functionality fully intact to facilitate migrations and transitions.

And this is the module that replaced the old Time Conditions:
