Voicemail Transcription Issues after 5.4 Upgrade

You basically just validated what I wrote. I can't recall having to coordinate with my vendors every time I need to upgrade their software. Imagine having to call Apple every time you need to update your iPhone? Do I have to take my Tesla to the service center every time I need to upgrade that...

Beta Testers Needed: Polycom “New Year” BLF Issue (Possible Fix)

We are 90 minutes past 00:00 UTC which is the time set on all our servers. No issues this year! Tested BLF lights as it seemed too good to be true! Thanks for the Christmas miracle!! HNY Quick AM update: everything is still stable, no abnormal behavior is observed

Voicemail Transcription Issues after 5.4 Upgrade

@UCtech I have to jump in and side with @pbxgeek on this. Mark and the Fusion team really are great people, and they’ve always been solid to work with. This isn’t a knock on them personally at all. But from an operational standpoint, we hit a point where we had to try something else because...

Beta Testers Needed: Polycom “New Year” BLF Issue (Possible Fix)

Feedback from my test environment. I set my server time to 11:55 pm Dec 31, rebooted freeswitch, and pointed my Polycom phone to it. After 12 AM on Jan 1 when the phone refreshed its SUBSCRIBE, the BLF function broke until the phone rebooted. I then patched the server, set the server time to...

    I give up!

You can't get FSPBX to install, or FusionPBX? Two different solutions. Your initial post said FusionPBX, and your last post says FS. Please clarify. From the logs you outputted, it looks like FusionPBX

@pbxgeek just wanted to report that so far everything appears to be stable

FS PBX — Now with Official Debian 13 (“Trixie”) Support

I was waiting for this one to happen! I am reading so much positive feedback on Debian 13. Can't wait to give it a try!

    API's and scaling

I manage several PBXs with 1500 endpoints per PBX. At the end of the day it’s using Freeswitch for the SIP process so it really comes down to how well you fine tuned Freeswitch settings. As for FS PBX’s UI - we were blown away, as were the customers who login for self management. Basic tasks...

Looking for a good open source billing system (ASTPP, BillRun, MagnusBilling?....)

Been using ASTPP for at least 10 years. It was pretty buggy so we spent our own money on development to fix up a bunch of bugs and to add some features that make it easier for us. We only use it for “back end billing” - to bill for toll free and international. We have another front end billing...

Introducing the New Business Hours Module – Goodbye Time Conditions!

It’s true. I had to set up call flows for a bunch of customers who just couldn’t cope with the old module

Introducing the New Business Hours Module – Goodbye Time Conditions!

You did it again with last nights update! Thank you! Now the date/rime range is smart enough to use the defined time zone within the module. It doesn’t force us to use math and calculate against the system time (which for us is set to UTC)

Introducing the New Business Hours Module – Goodbye Time Conditions!

Wow thank you!!! Just moved over a bunch of these from old to new UI and not only is it so much simpler to understand, but I can finally get my customers to be more hands on and control this on their own! Previously it was too complicated for both customers and employees to comprehend. Lastly...

No ringing tone when call recording is enabled

You’ll have to set the recording to start only after the call is answered in order to get this working the way you want

Debian 11 and 12 install script broken?

I am unable to install fusionpbx with the install script. Tried on Debian 11 and 12 with vultr and Linode. I am suspecting that the Postgres library or latest version of Postgres 16.5 is the culprit if anyone can shed some light on this I’d greatly appreciate it

    Is anyone using FS PBX?

Using it for the past year and a half, as the developer is a personal friend of mine. We have 3000+ endpoints. Very happy with it, and im not saying this in a biased way to favor him. I am very particular, and there’s adjustments he had to make on my behalf in order for me to agree to use it...

    Hello from LA

I was able to spin up a VM in Vultr and successfully get this installed as well, just make sure to follow the instructions. Also, the cheapest VM with 1 GB of RAM did not work - there was not enough RAM to get it to run. I went one level up on the specs (2GB RAM) and everything worked...

    Hello from LA

Dexter (@pbxgeek) has been a friend of mine for many years. He introduced me to his code about two years ago and I've been working closely with him to share ideas from a perspective of a VoIP operator handling 3000+ endpoints. When we flipped the switch to his code about a year and a half ago...
