First run: apt-mark hold "php*" then update Then, if you want: apt-mark unhold "php*"

yeah I always back up as a matter of course. We used to leave debian alone in the past for long (way too long really) times. But with all the crap happening out there we now want to start updating regularly. Damned if you don't - and sometime if you do I guess.

With the increasing speed at which vulnerabilities are being picked up, we want to stay ahead of any issues and keep Debian as up-to-date as possible. Is it always safe to run the below? Should we exclude anything to be safe? sudo apt updates sudo apt upgrade

Yes in our case it matches number C. Will test again and post logs

Yes, finger trouble, corrected. Thanks!

Hi I saw this: I think this affects calls that are set to an external number in a ring group which it didn't do before, am I correct in saying this? The diversion header however has the number it is being forwarded to, not the originally dialled number. So when number A phones into number B...

Hi Customers typically block numbers and then either forget that they did, don't tell their colleagues, or did it by mistake. Then we get a ticket "calls to this number are not working". Currently the options are reject, voicemail and busy. I would be swell to add "recording" to that and then...

My upgrade ended up with some pages giving a 500 error. The fix was: php artisan config:clear php artisan cache:clear php artisan route:clear php artisan view:clear For anyone having a similar issue. All appears to be fine after that.

We had an issue with a Fanvil phone sending thousands of subscribe messages, causing a sip flood of sorts. It was a legitimate customer's phone. As a result, and something that will help in general, I ended up rate limiting in nftables to port 5060. Currently set to 40 packets per second...

I think start a new thread guys, this one was not about a phonebook

I am, like @pbxgeek in favour of waiting for a little bit after a new release. But I believe there are some important security updates with this one. Has it been tested yet with FSPBX?

you can add it by going to advanced > menu manager and specify who should have access to it. Once you have done that, log out and back in and it will appear where you put it (presumably under applications but you can put it anywhere you like)

Mine has been there by default - but you can add it using /phonebooks

Oh wow, I had no idea this was there - didn't see anything in the menus or in the docs about it, must have missed it somehow. It actually has the information from the "contacts" page I had made available, the old Fusion one. That answers the question then :-)

Am I missing something? What speed dial page?

Correct - so they are dialled with *0 - but set up using the contact page by the customer

Hi - no I do see phone book but as far as I know that is not the same. In this case nothing is downloaded on a phone - it's a list of shortcodes that is created on the PBX rather. Unless I have misunderstood it in which case I must go and have another look?

Am I correct in saying that there isn't yet a contacts page replacement from FusionPBX to FSPBX? I have added the old one to the menu for the moment but want to make sure that I am not just missing it. Are there any plans for that one to be redone as well? We have a number of customers who make...

ah yes that does make a lot of sense thanks!

Kudos for this. Took me all of 10 minutes to set up a test ai agent to answer calls. Biggest issue in our environment and currency would be the cost. I made 3 minutes of test calls which cost me $0.5. Extrapolated to an hour that is $10. That is well above the hourly rate to employ someone here...
