    UNKNOWN CIDLOOKUP.LUA issue

Ok that was the issue. cidlookup MOD I had set to enable false, but it still showed running. I set it to true so it would allow me to stop it from running, then I set it back to enabled false. After doing this it now works as expected. If the name is not in the contact list it is now...

    UNKNOWN CIDLOOKUP.LUA issue

I did try inserting at destination level (see attached) Same results as above. Shows the contact if it is in there but shows UNKNOWN if it is not

    UNKNOWN CIDLOOKUP.LUA issue

Thank you Adrian - In your solution that would mean if I had 10 DID's pointed to that domain, I would need to insert the cidlookup.lua 10 times, correct?

    UNKNOWN CIDLOOKUP.LUA issue

I am trying to have the incoming dial plan reference the contacts before displaying the incoming caller ID So I use the following dial plan (attached - please reference attachment) As you can see the cidlookup.lua is at the bottom. It works great as is. If the contact is in the contacts...

Backup / Restore - Working Script?

Should I modify the .pgpass on both servers so that the restore will function as well? If yes, then do I use Server A's db password on server B?

Backup / Restore - Working Script?

I have tried to use the backup / restore scripts on Fusionpbx docs and I am told they are out of date and not relevant. I have yet to see a script to back up and restore that actually works I am willing to pay someone ($100? $200 - you tell me) to write me a back up and restore script that...

TCP / UDP - That is the queston

Client called me this morning and said they could not receive calls or dial out. They had the amber lights showing on the keys. They rebooted their phones and then all was well. About 3 hours later, the phone became what I call "unregistered" again. Not sure what you would call it but I call...

Cisco SPA515G2 Provisioning - Here is something I found

I have had a great deal of trouble getting provisioning working for the SPA 525G2. I modified the template many times without 100% success On a whim, I decided to try and use the SPA 525G template, NOT the G2. It works like a charm. Made a few modifications to suit my environment. I hope...

TCP / UDP - That is the queston

TCP / UDP - That is the queston

Thank you Adrian. I just received a call from my client at the office that has 3 phones on TCP and he said that one of those phones were not registered. He said if he rebooted the phone it would register but after about an hour or less, it would lose registration again. I changed it back to...

TCP / UDP - That is the queston

I have seen the TCP / UDP debate often in most very voip related forum. I have been using UDP simply because TCP has created new issues I never had with UDP. Some say that TCP did not create these new issues, but the fact remains that when I was on UDP the issues did not surface. To be more...

New Day new problem (Ring groups)

Your points are very valid. Yes, if you have clients that are somewhat savy they can do that. Good points Daz. Thank you

New Day new problem (Ring groups)

Follow me is a work around. Multiple Registrations should work. I have found this to be unstable, so the follow me would work as well. I just don't like accepting what should work not working and using work arounds. Just my 2 cents from someone far less knowledgeable than most.
