    Hosting FusionPBX in cloud

Many people are using FusionPBX successfully to many tenants. Many of their servers are on a public IP address. Some of them are behind NAT with AWS or Google Cloud (NAT can make it harder to setup and get everything working). I know some people are using a VPN but its not a large number of...

How long ago was FusionPBX installed on your server? Also what version of FusionPBX do you have installed? Go to Status -> System Status to check your version.

Does "say" with mod_flite work anymore?

Mod flite is very old and robotic-sounding. If that isn't the style you want, then you probably don't want to use mod_flite.

FusionPBX Database Replication for High Availability (HA)

A 3-node cluster does not have a lot of extra bandwidth. It's not a concern for most people with servers in a data center. To reduce file size for Call recordings use MP3 rather than a WAV file, as the MP3 is many times smaller. A 2-node cluster is popular and inexpensive. Some are using 3...

FusionPBX Database Replication for High Availability (HA)

FusionPBX supports native PostgreSQL's native logical mult-master replication. Whether you're setting up a 2-node or 3-node cluster, or additional nodes for more redundancy. The FusionPBX project was an early adopter of BDR (Bi-Directional-Replication), and we taught many of you how to use it...

    I give up!

Here are some ideas that might help. - Are you installing this on bare metal or some kind of virtualization? - The answer matters because they can behave differently. - When installing Debian use a minimal install. Adding extras could cause conflicts. I mentioned this before in my first...

Upgrade to 5.5.3 breaks SMS app

Upgrade First, part of your post shows you didn't follow the upgrade instructions. Maybe you didn't find the public instructions. But you need them because you performed an upgrade. The version upgrade instructions have been at the link below that I'm sharing for many years. This is documented...

What is your version of FusionPBX? You can see it from Status -> System Status. New install is likely 5.4, but it would be good to confirm it.
