I am, like @pbxgeek in favour of waiting for a little bit after a new release. But I believe there are some important security updates with this one. Has it been tested yet with FSPBX?

you can add it by going to advanced > menu manager and specify who should have access to it. Once you have done that, log out and back in and it will appear where you put it (presumably under applications but you can put it anywhere you like)

Mine has been there by default - but you can add it using /phonebooks

Oh wow, I had no idea this was there - didn't see anything in the menus or in the docs about it, must have missed it somehow. It actually has the information from the "contacts" page I had made available, the old Fusion one. That answers the question then :-)

Correct - so they are dialled with *0 - but set up using the contact page by the customer

Hi - no I do see phone book but as far as I know that is not the same. In this case nothing is downloaded on a phone - it's a list of shortcodes that is created on the PBX rather. Unless I have misunderstood it in which case I must go and have another look?

Thanks for the alert! We still had an old, inherited, Fusion box (don't laugh, FS 1.6 still) running that was more or less forgotten about with a handful of customer. Have just hammered it shut and will move the few customers over asap. I think I got there in time.

it won't hurt I'm sure, we just haven't had to at all. Then again, we run a handful of VMs per node max, so there are always plenty of resources available.

Use KVM - and if single node only set cpu = host although I am not sure if I have really noticed a difference. Other than that, I have never had to do anything specific and it runs without any issues.
