The only way I can get access to https is to issue command, ufw allow from xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

I belive the issue is in the firewall, I did whitelist my ip before the install, if I stop the firewall service I can connect with https when I restart the service I can only connect with ssh.

I just came back to Fusionpbx a couple weeks ago to give it another try, install went fine moved 10 phone and a sip trunk over and it's working good for about a week, have I commetted to soon is this current version prodiuction ready, I was just starting to really like this.

I see 99% of the threads in this forum are for fusionpbx, is this the only gui front end worth using for Freeswitch or are there any competitors worth looking at. Free or reasonably priced.

I disagree I have had numerous problems with different grandstream products and it's not always a firmware issue, after 36 years of installing PBX systems I'v seen it all and I will leave it at that.

Grandstream is one of those company's that get it 95% right and the other 5% drives you nuts, I too won't touch them again.

I very much hope to switch over from using Asterisk to Freeswitch/Fusionpbx, the only thing I am having trouble with is BLF's, I have read in some OLD posts that this is the one weakness of Freeswitch, I am not sure if it's my lack of knowledge in configuring this system or if today it still is...

I managed to get them to turn on with above method but they only show logged in for a few minutes then go off, they will come back on when the user logs off and back on again. I'm using version 4.4.3
