    FusionPBX BDR setup

Good Morning All, I have been running Fusionpbx for a while now and need to upgrade it again (quite far behind the newest release). I might be doing a new installation and migrating my stuff to new servers soon and was wondering if Postgresql 9.4 BDR is still being used as the replication...

    OS Upgrades on FusionPBX 4.4.1

So just to add.... It has now become a bit more complicated. I will effectively be doing OS-Release upgrades. This is due to these servers being to far behind to really have them comply with ISO standards. Any advise on upgrade from Debian 8 would be appreciated? Thanks Kobus

    OS Upgrades on FusionPBX 4.4.1

Thank you hfoster. Just to add. I found the following command that kinda shows me what the upgrade will do: ~$ apt-get -s dist-upgrade | grep "^Inst" Inst libnuma1 (2.0.10-1 Debian:8.11/oldstable [amd64]) Inst linux-image-3.16.0-6-amd64 (3.16.56-1+deb8u1 Debian:8.11/oldstable [amd64]) Inst...

Hi Guys, Hope someone can help me out. I am running FusionPBX 4.4.1 on Debian 8.11 server and need to do normal OS update / upgrade in order to be in line with all the necessary security patches. Has anyone ever had a problem where you "apt-get upgrade" caused issues with FS and Postgres...

    IPv6 Gateway Setup

Hi Adrian, From what I can tell it seems that Fusion is not attempting any SIP messaging. I've tried capturing on the SBC but cannot see anything SIP related coming through. I have tried googling "nua_r_register with invalid handle (nil)" to no avail. As if its something new that no one has...

    IPv6 Gateway Setup

Hi Guys, Hope you all are keeping well. Im in the process of setting up an IPv6 registration tunnel from Fusion. I think I have the correct setup done, but just getting FAIL_WAIT on the GW. Below is my fs_cli: freeswitch@fusionlab-ha1> 2020-08-12 09:21:11.262647 [DEBUG] sofia.c:4628...

    Host Desking?

Hi All, Hope everyone is staying healthy in the lockdown.... I was wondering if anyone ever documented the how-to guide for the Hot Desking on Fusionpbx? The docs I find on google arent very helpful and only a small explanation on the official fusion docs. Any help would be greatly...

    SOLVED Postgresql WAL problems

Hi All, Just to give an update. I removed my replications slots for now. That has resolved most of the issues. Obviously replication is a bit one sided at the moment, which I will fix still. For the most part, my WAL issues are sorted. So just to acknowledge the help that DigitalDaz...

    SOLVED Postgresql WAL problems

    I have a stupid question. Do I have to have BDR nodes slots active on master and replica? Master: fusionpbx=# select * from bdr.bdr_node_slots; node_name | slot_name | slot_restart_lsn | slot_confirmed_lsn | walsender_active | walsender_pid | sent_location...

    SOLVED Postgresql WAL problems

The main issue I am dealing with is that, although new WAL is being written to the replica DB, it seems to still have a lot of old WAL files that are not present on the master DB. Would creating a new base backup fix that as well?

    SOLVED Postgresql WAL problems

Morning DigitalDaz, So I move my WAL files to a bigger drive and got postgres to start again. Problem isnt sorted yet though. This is what I have for the replication slots for both machines: Main: postgres@r2d2:~$ psql fusionpbx psql (9.4.17) Type "help" for help. fusionpbx=# select *...

    SOLVED Postgresql WAL problems

Yeah I was afraid of that. I dont suppose you have a step-by-step lying around to remove and add the bdr again? I'm a bit rusty and the stuff I have is a bit outdated

    SOLVED Postgresql WAL problems

Hi Guys, Not sure if this is the right place for this question. I am running FusionPBX 4.4 with postgresql 9.4 BDR. I am running into a problem where my second server is running out of disk space. The biggest files are the WAL files for postgres. On my main server I can see the oldest file...
