Hi all,
I've been attempting to set up FusionPBX on an EC2 Instance with AWS.
I've installed onto a Debian 11 instance, following the guide at https://docs.fusionpbx.com/en/latest/getting_started.html
I have a registered domain address I have put an A record on for and I have set up SSL using Letsencrypt. I can log in and use the admin tool fine.

I have then set up 2 users - and then following that 2 extensions.

Using Linphone on my mobile phone and various clients on my computer (Blink, Linphone and Zoiper, as examples) I've managed to get them to register to the extension without issues. They show up under Registrations too.

I can make calls between the extension numbers, and I can make outgoing calls to the SIP Trunk/Gateway I have also set up.

However, in all cases there is no audio.

I disconnected my mobile phone from the WiFi and attempted to make an internal call to the other extension, in case my router was blocking the calls, and also a call to another external number but without any audio.

The Echo Tests on *9195 and *9196 also do not work. Music on Hold on *9664 seems to just hang up immediately.

Interestingly the tone test on *9197 does work.

I have security group to forward the following ports to any IPv4 address
  • 5060 TCP
  • 5060 UDP
  • 5080 TCP
  • 5080 UDP
  • 8000 UDP
  • 8000 TCP
  • 4569 UDP
  • 16384 - 32768 UDP
In testing, I also allowed all traffic on ports - without success.

I'm a little loss on what to investigate next. Any and all help greatly appreciated.

You can try to change some parameters in internal sip profile:
ext-rtp-ip - autonat:your_pb_ip_address
ext-sip-ip - autonat:your_pb_ip_address
Then save and restart profile.

Thank you very much!
This worked for me right away.

I set the variables in the internal sip profile, rebooted the server and... viola!

Thanks again.
