SOLVED Call Forward $callerID

i am coming from asterisk/FreePBX, i am pretty new to Freeswtich /FusionPBX

i just set up call forward in the GUI and the caller id on the forwarded phone is showing my DID number and not the number of the person that is calling

can anyone give me a hint on this

So there are 2 ways of doing this, how are you trying to forward the number, Via a Ring group or Outbound Destination?

So if your trying to do it from ring groups then editing the CID name and Number prefix will do it


If your trying to do it from the Destinations, on the inbound number you need to Prefix there


both of these will only work if your outbound provider supports this.

i think that my Question was not clear

i am away from my phone (desk) and i set up my phone (ext) to call forward to my cell phone

now a caller calls the main number his ID is 555 1212, on my cell phone when it rings via call forward it will show the caller id number as my DID number and not 555 1212,
when i use follow me it will show me 555 12121

how can i have this work on call forward

how do you set the information below so that the original caller ID will appear when transferring call?

I am attempting this same thing - I am doing it from a ring group. What would I enter to replace the outbound caller ID with that of the forwarded call's caller ID number?
