Callcenter Announce Position

Does this work? i don't see callcenter-announce-position.lua anymore.

How is it supposed to be setup?

Yes it works. You have to create callcenter-announce-position. Read the initial post that I link to and then see what modifications I made to it. I have DM'd you a test number so you can see how it works when implemented.

I found this post about how to make changes in FreeSwitch and FusionPBX to have the Call Center queue announce the position in queue to the customer. The post form @TurabG got me thinking that it would be nice to tell you your position as soon as you enter the queue. I played around and made a few changes. I hope some folks will find it useful.

1) I did not like the way it announced "Call number X" so I made a few recordings: using a similar AI...

Dial plan XML changes are part of the setup in the instructions. Here is how my Call Center looks in FusionPBX: The magic is in the new and modified .lua scripts and the modified XML. The GUI is just a basic setup which allows the caller to press-1 to be transferred to a voice mailbox.
