CISCO Phone 8845

Hi,

I have fusion Installed, now I want to make CISCO 8845 phones work.

I already have created an extension and provisioned it with a phone MAC Address.

can I get a step-by-step guide? i don't know where to start debugging.

is fusion directly serving TFTP clients or do i need to install some server? and to configure?.

please help.

For a start, there's no TFTP. No security in it, so it's not used often these days.

In the default settings, ensure that:

1. enabled: Must be enabled and set to value true and enabled True. It is disabled by default.
2. http_auth_username: Must be enabled and set to value <YOURUSERNAME> and enabled True. It is disabled by default. Be sure to use a strong username.
3. http_auth_password: Must be enabled and set to value <YOURPASSWORD> and enabled True. It is disabled by default. Be sure to use a strong password.

Then you should be able to point the HTTP provisioning URL of the phone to https://pbx.example.com/app/provision after entering the HTTP username and password.
