Hello everyone. I've learnt a lot on this forum and will like to appreciate you all.

Most times people discuss how to setup a gateway/trunk in Fusionpbx but I'll like to know how to create one and provide the service to others.

From my understanding, I can create SIP extensions and my clients can use that as a trunk on their PBX. Doing that my clients calls will be outbound on Fusionpbx and I can setup outbound routes -> gateway.

But, there are clients who do not want sip accounts and just want me to whitelist their IP address. I have done that in iptable & ACL & Fail2ban.
The problem I'm facing now are :
1. Their calls are coming in as inbound while I will like it to be outbound
2. Am I doing the right thing if I create inbound routes, match the numbers and bridge the call to a gateway
3. I did the (2) above, it worked but on the CDR there is no way to trace the call to them. It was recorded as inbound but the extension column is blank

In summary, what is the correct way to create a SIP trunk/gateway using Fusionpbx? I need to provide both sip accounts and Ip whitelisting based on clients demand.

Thanks.
