Wonde rif I have worded thei wrong to seek adivice. Basically when a call is put on hold they woul dlike th eoption for the caller to dial "0" to be be than passed to another number,

The current setup is that the IVR points to Ring groups 0,1,2,3,4, . 1,2,3,4 are the ring groups for the people in th e ffice and 0 is the messagiing service. All timeout destinatos are ring group 0.

So anybody got any ideas on how I can sort this I just all i need to do is pass thw call to a different number whislt a recording is beinig played, by pressing 0.

It sounds like you should be using "Call Center" Queue. It can work much like a ring group but is also has the option to play an announcement x seconds and offers an "exit key" option.

That was my next thought to be honest I have never set this up before and most of our customers dont require this feature.

yeah went this route in th nd so when a call comes in it hits the IVR then the ringroup if it times out it thens goes to Call centre which in turn gives the option to press 0 to exit and go to the messaging service.
