What is the current status of FreeBSD as a FusionPBX platform?

I was able to install FusionPBX on Debian without any issues and configure it to meet my modest requirements, but after running the install script on FreeBSD 12.1 and 11.3 (since 11.1 is explicitly listed as being supported), I am left with a non-functioning setup. The Web interface appears to work, but FreeSWITCH isn't running, nor does the rc.d script from the resources appear to be installed. FreeSWITCH is however enabled in /etc/rc.conf.

During one of the installs I saw a delay while the script waited for FreeSWITCH to start. I re-ran that portion of the script after installation completed and received the following:

root@pbx:/usr/src/fusionpbx-install.sh/freebsd/resources # ./switch.sh

When accessing the SIP Status page in FusionPBX:

<div align='center'>Connection to Event Socket failed.<br /></div>

FreeBSD is my preferred platform as I have multiple systems to maintain. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Are you running this in a FreeBSD jail? I had the same issue and so tried running it in a Bhyve VM, which worked perfectly on FreeBSD13.
