Does anyone have experience with BulkVS.com?
Someone had suggested BulkVS; now that I have ported my numbers over there and I can't get the inbound or outbound working at all.
I've followed their instructions to the best of my abilities but I must be missing something.
I managed to get their service working on a MicroSIP but that was some wrangling in itself and I cannot use any CallerID.

I managed to get the inbound working by changing the caller details.

Now to continue with the outbound issue.

Their outbound is quite straight forward.
My outbound bridge statement looks like the following:

You also have to add your server's IP address in bulkvs portal

My outbound bridge statement is exactly like yours

Also, I had added my server's IP to their portal.

I am being told by BulkVS that my outbound string is incorrect.
When I hide the Caller ID, I can call out.
I know that I am so close to the solution but just need a second pair of eyes to point out my errors.

Your outbound dial plan looks correct.
It shouldn't be needed, but you can also try changing your bridge action to sofia/external/$1@sip.bulkvs.com
This will bypass anything that might be weird in your gateway settings.

Here is the reply from BulkVS regarding the issue.

"We see you registering from 611XXX_Pinewood via the IP 72.141.XXX.XXX.

We see you sending outbound calls as well, however, the caller ID number you are sending is 611XXX_Pinewood not a valid 10 or 11 digit telephone number. Due to this it appears the upstream carrier is rejecting the call.

Please update the programming on your PBX to output a valid 10 or 11 digit telephone number and the issue should be corrected."

Is there a setting that can I can adjust?

I changed the gateway advanced settings to Caller ID In Form to true but it still doesn't do outbound.

I've attached a log file if that helps

ad5ou: Great advice! I had the same problem with calls to Sprint. I did populate the gateway advanced with "Caller ID In Form" to "true" but failed to restart the gateway. After restarting the gateway, everything works like is should. :)
Thanks

Actually, it didn't work for me even when I restarted the gateway.
I am so frustrated at this time.

Very strange you still have problems. My guess is it might be related to using registration since it appears you are behind a firewall and/or dynamic ip.

My other suggestion of changing the bridge statement in outbound route to bypass gateway settings should ensure the CID info is presented normally.

I managed to get the outbound working and now the inbound is intermittent.
After I reset the fusionpbx, I am able to make an inbound call, however after I hangup, I cannot.

Finally, got it working.
According to their documentation, BulkVS wants to have 4 IPs whitelisted which I put all into the ACL.
I also had sip.bulkvs.com in the ACL.

It seems that I was registered with one of the IPs and then tried to call out on another IP.

I fixed it by just keeping it to only one of the IPs and getting rid of the rest.
I also deleted the sip.bulkvs.com from my ACL.
