Hello all

I'm pretty new to FusionPBX and loving it :)

I've run into a problem and wondered if anyone else has seen this before, when a make a call into fusion PBX I see it appear about 30 times and I hit a limit:

2020-06-11 10:54:37.581612 [CRIT] switch_core_session.c:2357 Throttle Error! 29
2020-06-11 10:54:37.581612 [CRIT] mod_sofia.c:4730 Error Creating Session

Any idea what could be causing this? let me know if there's anything else I can provide.

Thanks
Phillip

You may need to examine more of the FreeSwitch log to understand what is happening. You may also need to get a packet capture of the messages being exchanged between FreeSwitch and your carrier.

It could be something as simple as Carrier sends and INVITE to FreeSwitch, the resonse from FreeSwitch does not make it back to your carrier, so carrier re-tries, hence it appears like a lot of separate calls. Without a packet capture it will be difficult to diagnose.

Hard to say exactly what is going on with the single screen shot but it points to a routing loop.
You would need to check the logs and track down the offending dial plan. Could be a bad inbound/outbound route, call forward, or follow me. I've also seen similar results with Fax server extension number being the same as the fax number.
