I've been heavily evaluating FusionPBX for a couple of weeks and am pretty impressed with it so far. In my firm we like to use open source software as you can usually find fixes to problems fairly quickly and suggest features that usually get implemented if they're useful. So as part of my evaluation I also have to evaluate the community, documentation, etc.. So far this is the only forum I've found and there seems to be a disconnect between the developers and the community (at least this one). I've also found the documentation very sparse which of course increases the learning curve as I bumble around using trial and error.
Would someone be able to give me a quick honest lay of the land as it pertains to the political situation surrounding this project. Also is there a way to get better documentation (paid solutions are ok)
