Hello
We are trying to use an OpenSIPS to terminate all SIP trunks as well as Sip registrar.
There is an internal profile server which we would like to the client to connect so that it can download the profile of the user over ftp.

Is there a way to forward a public IP address to an internal server using OpenSIP or we need to install a firewall.

thanks and regards

OpenSIPS deals with the SIP protocol not FTP. FTP is an insecure protocol, consider using SFTP.

You can set up iptables rules to forward ports to another machine, you can even write an OpenSIPS script that will add the iptables rules based on some SIP message interaction if required.

Understood - so I will need another firewall to connect to our profile server. Once the client registers to the OpenSIPs then it can be forwarded to the media server. And Yes - we use SFTP.
