Operator Panel - Transfer by name

I had a fusionpbx set up one time where in the operator panel you could transfer a call to a extensions name instead of their number.

I don't know where or how this was set up but I can't seem to replicate it.

Can someone help me please as it doesn't seem to work?

I figured it out with trial and error.

So if anyone interested. The trick is to give the user 'CONTACT' privileges. Not sure why contact but that did the trick.

1. How did you get your Operator Panel to display name instead of just the extension? Mine just shows the extension :-(
2. Where do I give a user CONTACT privileges?

OK, never mind, I figured out question 1. For others who may wonder the same thing: in the extension, I put the name in the "Effective Caller ID Name" (I previously had put just the extension number as I had seen someone do that in a "quick start" guide I followed)

If you could let me know about question 2, though, that would be great. Thanks!
