Pickup Groups Temperamental

Good morning.

We have deployed our first FusionPBX and all in all so far its working very well, we have one issue where the pickup groups sometimes dont work at all and the rest of the time the pickup is extremely delayed often causing the caller to putdown before the call is picked up. we have used the default pickup groups and added a few extras by just typing the name i.e orders into the call group.

Does anyone have some advice here on how to get this to function correctly?
