Hello One & All,
I know many people/organisations choose to use Proxmox for their virtualisation. I find Proxmox interesting because it offers the choice of running an LXC container as a lightweight alternative to fully virtualised KVM machines.

If you use Proxmox, how you virtualise your VoIP platform? For example, would you run your configuration software e.g. FusionPBX in a KVM and then maybe FreeSWITCH in an LXC container so that FreeSWITCH benefits form effectively being run on bare metal.

I would love to hear how VoIP people are using Proxmox.

We run XEN with Xen Orchestra in house, we have tested but not under production some VoIP servers on it and worked fine. No major configurations were done. I tested proxmox and now im moving from XEN to Proxmox , hopefully it runs smoother. But i owe you detailed info on voip on Proxmox. For production we use some public VPS provider

@AGIDI Thankyou we have run on XCP-Ng for years with no problems, but are seriously considering moving to Proxmox, I just haven't managed to work through the find detail yet.

I wondered if an LXC Container would be better for FreeSWITCH than a VM.
