I configured a ring group to ring an external number along with prompt/confirm option. While it does ring the outside number, the caller does not hear any ringback tone while it is trying to ringing. This happens even if I set the ring (in ring groups)to be music etc. I traced via sngrep and found that while system receives a sip 180 ringing from the external number, it does not send back that 180 to the caller.
This does not happen if I also include an internal phone to the ring group or if I don't use the confirm/prompt option.
Changing ring group type to enterprise etc does not help
