I created a fresh install of fusion pbx, the fusion pbx resides behind a NAT router. I created 2 extensions ex: 6000, 6001, I was able to call between extensions.

Then I proceeded to create a new domain for sip clients who will register to this server from the internet through the router. Now I have one more extension (7000) which is in this new domain.

So now I have two domains and 3 extensions.

192.168.1.100 (which is the SIP servers internal ip) and myhost.com the external hostname of the router.

Three extensions 6000,6001,7000

All the extensions register and are able to make calls through an outbound provider.

Before I created the new domain and the extension 7000, I was able to call between 6000 and 6001 without any issues.

Now after this new domain, when I make a call from 6000 to 6001 -> I see the call hitting the dialplan and gets converted to something like internal/000/hostname - i.e the first number of the extension gets stripped away and instead of going to 192.168.1.100 domain it get rewritten to the other domain.

Please advise where should I be looking for misconfiguration.

It sounds like a problem with your dialplan, check what matches 6xxx, something is picking it up and asyou say probably stripping the first digit. Also carefully check anything that is global or runs in the public context i.e. inbound routes.
