Is there a way to hide certain details, IE the number called, from a subscriber while still retaining the BLF functionality? I'd like to allow users to see if an extension is free or busy without giving them the call details.
What the poster in that thread did is to (accidentally, I think) override detecting "911" as an emergency number, so it's treated like any other number. I could do this, but I'm just curious if anyone's run into this or has actual documentation.
Having this issue here: https://community.polycom.com/t5/VoIP-SIP-Phones/911-Calls-fail-on-VVX-due-to-incorrect-RURI/m-p/89498#M19936

The only way to safely update the software is to be a paying member. Most of the important update notes are in the continuing education videos and documents, and the member documentation. Updating without following this documentation can leave features broken.
The workaround is actually to point the Polycom to a master configuration file outside of fusionpbx. This allows you to specify FPBX for the configuration files.
To restore the contact functionality on Polycom phones that FPBX breaks, in the master configuration file you can point the contact...
There appears to be no way to allow VVX users to modify their own contacts. Polycom seems to expect/demand that the local contacts are uploaded to FPBX. I'm assuming that this is impossible. So, when the VVX re-downloads the files, it removes any changes the user might have made to their local...
It turns out it was the case. The call group is only evaluated for group pickup. For extension intercept, there is no check whatsoever. When combined with the fact that someone can add a BLF button on a polycom and see whenever a call comes in on a remote extension (and then press a single...
