    Many single extension tenants.

Thanks for your input guys, it helps. Some of the phone lines I have picked up are really low usage, as in almost never use them, they just don't want to lose the phone number, but primarily use mobiles, and that is what I was thinking of with this question. However, for just the emergency...

    Many single extension tenants.

Hi, The subject may not be an accurate description, but i'm after thoughts/advice on the following: We have a number of business tenants on our FusionPBX server now, but as residential users are moving away from having a line with the introduction of fibre/sogea we have started picking up them...

    Some calls on hold dropping.

Hi, We have a situation where some calls just drop. This only happens when a caller is routed through to a call centre agent and that agent puts them on hold. We haven't been able to confirm at this point if it is a fixed period of time as it only happens to some calls, but it seems to be...

Outbound call recordings for every extension

Hi, I have a requirement for one of our customers to record all inbound and outbound calls, but not local calls. I know each extension can be set to outbound, and inbound all calls are received via call centres which can be set to record. However, I don't want to have the overhead of setting...

Agent login requires password after migration/restore

I've checked the agent_status lua script and it's identical apart form OMG! Thank you for helping me see the wood through the trees. I've obviously been working too long and need more sleep.o_O

Agent login requires password after migration/restore

I've just migrated to a new server using the restore script from the member section, and after a few issues it's mostly working. However, one thing I can't seem to get to the bottom of is when agents try to log in with *22 it is playing the voicemail sound file requesting the password...

    Best method for getting current

Mark, thank you for your response, to be honest though it didn't really help. What I did do though, was do another clean install, however before attempting a restore I ensured the original server was fully up to date, and whether it was that, or maybe I read and understood the instructions...

    Best method for getting current

So I've tried going down the route migrating to a new server with Debian 11 and following the instructions to install FusionPBX clean and the restore script from the member centre. However after it completes (second attempt without error) when accessing via a browser I get this: followed by...

    Best method for getting current

Hi, My system is currently on Debian 9.8, FreeSwitch 1.8.5, FusionPBX 5.0.1. I want to bring it all up to date. I'm thinking of going down the route of a second install and using the restore script from the member centre. Is the best method? Are there pitfalls I need to be aware of? Is there...

    SOLVED Grandstream Phones won't answer

Thank you @hfoster for making me check. That's exactly what it was. We disable SIP ALG by default so hadn't bothered to check. That'll teach me to never assume.

    SOLVED Grandstream Phones won't answer

If I change the sip protocol to TCP on the handsets, then calls will are able to be answered, however that makes the registrations unstable, I mean sometimes the handset will become unregistered and won't re-register without manual input, and sometimes i will get multiple registrations for the...

    SOLVED Grandstream Phones won't answer

I currently have 2 of the handsets with me for testing, and something else I've discovered is that sometimes handset 1 shows as registered on the handset itself, but not on the registrations page on FPBX. When it is in this state I am able to call handset 2 from handset 1, answer it and have a...

    SOLVED Grandstream Phones won't answer

What I've also noticed is that the registration info for the 820's doesn't have the contact, and that the LAN IP is actually their public IP address.

    SOLVED Grandstream Phones won't answer

One other thing to note here, if I reject a call to the 820 from a desk phone, the desk phone gets the "busy here" message, however if I reject a call coming from another 820 then it carries on ringing on the handset that originates the call.

    SOLVED Grandstream Phones won't answer

I have just introduced some Grandstream WP820 wireless handsets to a tenant i have had for about 4 years. All their existing handsets are Yealink and Sangoma, this has been stable and working without issues for ages now. Adding the WP820's appeared to work fine when I set the first ones up...

Weird audio after putting call on hold

Thanks for your input, Adrian. I don't believe it is a packet loss issue though, as it affects different tenants on different networks, albeit the same FPBX server, however that network has a dedicated 100mb connection, and the number of concurrent calls rarely breaks double figures. I have...

Weird audio after putting call on hold

Hi, We have an issue for multiple domains where a call is taken fine, then put on hold, and after it is taken off hold or transferred the callers voice goes very weird and sounds almost like a dalek, but is inaudible. This doesn't however happen with every call. I'm not really sure where to...

    Provisioning Issues Sangoma

Update: I've managed to get the provisioning template sorted for the Sangome S505. I know FusionPBX doesn't come with Sangoma templates, I downloaded from DigitalDaz's (I think) git repository, but they didn't have details for the various variables for the line keys, I added the right ones and...

    Provisioning Issues Sangoma

As an update, i've tried the same as above with a Yealink T28P. The first issue is the same, however the second issue is not an issue with the Yealink. In addition, the first line key being configured is actually down to that being hard set in the template for the Sangoma.

    Provisioning Issues Sangoma

Hi, I probably won't be using Sangoma phones moving forward but have a customer moving from FreePBX and need to re-use existing handsets. I am currently trying to provision some S505 handsets, but having 2 problems and not sure where the issue lies. 1. The first issue is I can only use HTTP...
