Bind Digit Action issue

Hi Guys, i have noticed that if you enable bind digit action when calling the voicemail it says "to exit press #" , waits for a sec and then continues as normal, how many messages etc etc. If i disable bind digit action then it works as normal without the to exit press # , any ideas how i can have bind digit action on and still have vm working as normal ?
