BLF Keys & Device Profiles

Hi all,

We use host multiple PBXs for clients at our company and many clients have different requirements so a generic profile template between pbxs wouldn't work.

However, we'd like to setup a template specific to that organisation and apply it to multiple Yealink handsets - predominantly the focus is on BLF keys for each handset.

Is there a way to apply a single template to multiple handsets but have the users own extension excluded as a BLF key as we don't tell that the user needs a BLF for themselves.

My experience has been you assign them a device profile and then assign their device a line key with the type as N/A on the key number that would be their name in the device profile.

If their extension/name in the profile is on key 17 then you would assign their device a line key of 17 with type N/A.
