I have a client that uses a modem to call their clients from a proprietary piece of software.
I have the modem going into both ports on a ATA, with one of the lines autodialing an extension. The ATA is programmed for an extension in Fusion (say 201). This works to let the modem place the call and have it ring a desk phone (Say 101). Problem comes when/if they need to transfer the call. Transferring causes the call to drop, which makes sense as the modem will no longer be in the call so it disconnects.
Is there a way I can do this without ending the call? Is there a feature code or something I can have the modem dial to send the call directly to the desk phone and not need the modem after the call is placed?
