Call confirm on call forward or call forward in ring group

Would it be very tricky to add the option "confirm call" to the ring group call forward, and have a failover option to go to another call forward?

It's of course available as part of the ring group when you just set an external number there but we cannot use that because it is not treated correctly as a forwarded call and does not show the inbound number as part of the sip headers, whereas call forward does.

I see one possible issue with your plan. If there is a confirm option, then the call isn't really forwarded until the person confirms. Which means there will be no diversion header. The whole point of the confirm option is to keep the call in the system in case the end user declines.

We have the diversion header working on it, but it doesn't have the correct number listed in the header. Will play some more with this to see if we can make it work as it would be the ideal way of doing it. This diversion header requirement is a real pain but we don't have a choice - calls to other carriers simply won't work without it and where they slip through we are liable for litigation
