Hi Team,

I have just spun up the latest master FusionPBX v4.5.20 to test functionality.
In general it works well, but, I have noticed the call recording is not functioning as expected.
After enabling recording for an extension and making a call it does not appear to have created the recording file.
The call recording app has the call listed but not correctly and cannot playback.
See image attached.

**UPDATE**
General recording using *732 works.
Call recording logs the call but does not create a audio file for the recording.
**/UPDATE**

TIA

Josh.

Hey Daz,

I should have added that...

Yes it is.. this is Debian 9 fresh install.
Same result with Debian 10.

It is installed on a Linode if that makes any difference..

Cheers.

Ok... so, it will record actual extension to extension or extension to external calls correctly.
I was testing with echo test calls. Normally in the past it would record the echo test call.
It appears that it wont record feature calls now..?? Is this a thing or a bug??

Not sure, I haven't been on by the way, only just came back.

I would say this is potentially a feature. You wouldn't want it recording you retrieving your voicemails for example.

This is true. Makes sense.
I used to use it sometimes.
Get the client to make an echo test call and then listen to the recording.
I know technically you only hear the inbound audio...
