Trial run FusionPBX 4.2.2, Switch 1.6.15 (64bit), Debian on google cloud.

unable to get inbound and outbound calls to work.

outbound call
1. our site(endpoints)---->(internal, port 5060)fpbx(external, port 5080)------->other site(gateway)

inbound call
2. other site(gateway)---->(external, port 5080)fpbx(internal, port 5060)------->our site(endpoints)

both above did not seemed to work, though gateway, dialplan destination, inbound and outbound routes were created. Pls help. advise. Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
LT

Please supply more information, you have done nothing above except describe how things are meant to work.

thanks for the reply.

1 and 2 working now, after looking at sip traces, config change on the dialplan destination.

however, as we are exploring multi tenant, how do we get it to work for the following call scenario, instead of routing to the external gateway

3. our site(tenant A ext 123)---->[port 5060]fpbx[port 5060]------->other site(tenant B ext 113)

Pls help advise. Thanks.

If each extension on the other site has a DID number this is not too difficult. In the dialplan you will see a is_local entry that is disabled by default, this will allow you to call a did number and will route it direct rather than via carrier.
