CDRs - status - some thoughts

In call history, which looks great and by honing in on it gives you exactly the information you want, the status seemingly reflects the last leg of the call. However, that creates some confusion at first glance. In an example, a call came in and was answered by ext 100. The person then transferred the call to extension 105. There was no answer on 105 and the caller hung up. The status now reflects a "missed call" for that incoming call. But it wasn't really missed, it was answered initially and only the transfer of the call was unanswered.

I am unsure of how this really should reflect in the CDRs but it seems wrong to me that it shows a missed call. Any ideas around this from others?

Our Call History does this as well. If a call is forwarded to an outside extension, it only shows the forwarded part, which we change the Caller ID to the DID, the call history never shows the incoming calls CallerID, only the DID going to the outside extension..

This is a Freeswitch thing, and there is not much way around it. If we show only one line per call, it will display the last leg's info. One line per call is the most desirable way to present the info, according to customer feedback. It works really well in most cases, but there are situations when it's not perfect.

Thanks for the info. it makes sense, and is why I never really worried about it. I can look at the logs and see who was calling in, if I need to get that info.
