Hi all,

Been running various versions over the years of Asterisk and Fusion and i also install door entry systems.

Recently we installed a new Paxton Touch Entry system that generally can work when setup as a SIP extension on a PBX.

Internally we can dial from the Paxton extension to other SIP clients inside the network but when calling outside the system we get a call fail.

I actually believe i know what the issue is but i've no idea how to resolve it as the Paxton SIP Client is a closed system with no way to change settings.

Anyways the issue is that the Paxton System insists that the codec uses a ptime of 30ms and everything external is 20ms so external connections fail

Internally i guess the clients negotiate to the 30ms but our SIP provider is locked at 20ms.

Does this make sense ?

The error i get is : DIALSTATUS INCOMPATIBLE_DESTINATION
The setting the Client is trying to use is: ep_codec_string CORE_PCM_MODULE.PCMU@8000h@30i@64000b,CORE_PCM_MODULE.PCMA@8000h@30i@64000b

Is there a way to transcode this on the server to its correct when going to the external SIP Trunk.
