Is it possible to have one voicemail box for all extensions? Each individual extension does not need voicemail, but we do need a generic voicemail box for everyone.

I would assume I need to point each extensions voicemail box to say an extension 200 which has voicemail, but I don't see how to change which voicemail box each extension uses.

Thanks

Go to call routing for each extension and set the no answer option to *99<exten> (exten = the VM Box extension you want to send the call to)

Haha. What a simple answer!! Here I am, looking at dialplans to do it.

That works great.

Thank you so much!!

An alternative way via the dial plan is to modify the *99<ext> dialplan

Change "voicemail_id=$1" to = the mailbox you want everything to go to.

The benefit is it will catch all extensions even newly created ones you forgot to change the call routing for. The bad part is if some other extension in the domain actually needs their own mailbox instead of the general mailbox it will require more effort.
