custom menu instead of default menu

I have a client request that specific groups should have access to multiple menus and I do not want to change the default menu any more by adding permissions menu based on groups. So I created the group Supervisor-Test and want to assign Supervisor menu. I cant find a way to build a relationship between group and specific menu. If it is denoted anywhere, please point me to it.
