I am having a tough time getting a different ringtone assigned to a DID for a client. I have gone through the other threads I could find on this subject and tried to re-create them best I could to no avail. This is for a Yealink device.
I have modified the yealink_ring_file_1 & yealink_ring_text_1 (set to the tag "local" for testing. Will change later) and enabled them both. Now, I went into the Dialplan (Specifically "Inbound Routes" for the specific DID I am testing with) and added the custom line to the dialplan.
If I am understanding this correctly, I don't need to modify any specific device settings, right? I logged into the WebGUI for the phone and the variables are changing when I push out the provisioning for that phone so I know I'm working with the right fields.
I am still rather new to the Dialplan manager side of things as our Veteran left the company for greener pastures.
Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction?
