error when trying to run upgrade option

Installed a new Debian 11 and Fusionpbx on a new server and trying to update the FusionPBX software using the Advanced/Upgrade option. When I run it, it seems to update from the master channel but gives a Warning ( fusionpbx warning message) that I need to run the command "git config pull.rebase false" command. When I try to run this directly in Debian as root it tells me that it is not a valid git command.

What am I missing? How do I fix?
