External SoftPhone registration

Hi,
I've installed a FusionPBX+Freeswitch in a RPi3. I´m trying to register from internet (with a DNS domain) and I am not being able to register. I´m registering to external SIP profile with an non default port.
Can you help me to solve this issue please?

You must define a domain called 'xxxx.com' in your directory and add a user with the id="3000" attribute
and you must configure your device to use the proper domain in it's authentication credentials.

The external sip profile despite its name is not where you would register a user. All users are registered to the internal profile. The external profile is for carriers.

A more practical description of the profiles is: internal = authenticated traffic, external = unauthenticated traffic
